WHAT IS OPERATIVE TALENT?

Collision Repair Education Foundation (CREF) has partnered up with BASF and KTL Restorations of Danville, VA along with support from Carbuff Network on Operative Talent. The project is focused on attracting future talent to the industry by educating the population as a whole on the ample opportunities, success stories and segments within the collision repair industry. To help achieve this goal, the team will be hosting a fundraising initiative by hosting a sweepstake to raffle off the 1969 Camaro, “Talent.” Proceeds will fund a Careers in Collision website along with a Public Service Announcement promoting the opportunities in the industry.

FOR THE STUDENTS

Students, this is your chance to be part of a project unlike anything the automotive industry has seen before! Operative Talent connects students with career opportunities in the automotive industry, from mechanical repairs to collision, and beyond. This year, Operative Talent is giving students like you the opportunity to put their mark on vehicles making their way to the infamous SEMA Show, held annually in Las Vegas. If selected, you’ll work alongside restoration and repair professionals to bring a classic car back to life from the ground up, including the parts, paint, and upholstery. Apply online and tell us why you want to be part of the debut project for Operative Talent.
